Login state isn't shown correctly
- Make sure you're signed in to that service in the column. After signing in, a green check (✓) appears on the sidebar icon within a few seconds.
- Due to how SPAs work, a sign-out may not reflect immediately. Try reloading the column (header back/forward, or Home from navigation).
Can't ingest drafts
- Ingestion is a Pro feature. Make sure you've signed in / upgraded on Pro.
- Check that the file follows mokumokuren's draft format (
text required, etc.) — see the "rejected reasons" in the import preview.
An MCP client can't connect
- Is MCP integration "Running" (Settings ⚙)? Enabling it requires Pro.
- After pasting the connection snippet, did you restart the client (it fetches the tool list on connect)?
- Keep mokumokuren running (the server is active only while the app runs).
- For stdio connections, check that
command points to the app's executable (no separate node needed).
Delivery doesn't open the composer (mixi2 / Substack)
- Make sure the column is signed in and showing Home.
- To deliver a Substack article (has title / markdown), open your Substack dashboard once first (see the tip in Inbox).
Delivered, but the body isn't filled in
- mixi2 / Substack don't support auto-fill. When the composer opens, paste with Cmd/Ctrl+V (the body is on the clipboard).
Updates
- Both macOS and Windows support auto-update. A notice appears in the sidebar when an update is available.
Switching language
- Use 🌐 in the sidebar to switch between Japanese and English (applies to both the in-app UI and native dialogs).
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in screen, enter your registered email address, then click "Forgot your password?". A password-reset email is sent to that address.

- On the free tier, simply register again with another address.
